RRB JE FAQ

  • You must have a Diploma or Degree in Engineering (in a relevant discipline). Age should be between 18 to 33 years (age relaxation applicable).
  • No, you can apply only for one RRB zone in a particular recruitment cycle. Multiple applications will lead to disqualification.
  • The initial pay scale is ₹35,400/month (Level 6 of 7th CPC) + allowances (DA, HRA, TA, etc.). Gross salary can range up to ₹50,000/month.
  • It is not conducted annually on a fixed schedule, but as per vacancies, usually every 2–3 years.
  • Yes, 1/3rd mark is deducted for each wrong answer in both CBT Stage 1 and Stage 2.
